This is Elizabeth’s patio. On the table there are six empty packs of cigarettes, three ash trays, a plant, an empty bottle of wine that is now filled with water, and an empty 4 loko type beverage (“Joose”). I love the things that happen on this patio. I think it must be one of the best places in the world.
This is my laptop. She has fallen off my bed in the middle of the night countless times because I don’t sleep without her humming next to me as netflix autoplays Scandal and an assortment of other shows. I knocked her off Elizabeth’s balcony once and you can see she now has alignment problems and every time I open her she makes a buzzing noise three times in one pitch and the fourth is done in a defeated lower pitch. After the fourth she lets me go along with my business. My laptop is a mother fucking champion and is mangled and sometimes embarrassing in the quiet study areas in the library but I am all of those things also. I feel bad when I covet macbook airs in the apple store windows. But this old girl won’t last forever.

Can you forgive? Are you capable of that?” — Silver Linings Playbook/My laptop to me every time I open her
